- Account owner
- The person or business with final control over an online account.
- Account Sharing
- Hostinger's feature for giving another person access to selected services through their own account.
- A record
- A DNS record that points a name to an IPv4 address.
- Authorized User
- A separate Porkbun user invited to help manage an account without receiving domain-transfer control.
- Auto-renew
- A setting that charges the saved payment method to extend a registration before it expires.

- Backup
- A separate copy of website files and data that can be used for recovery.

- Collaborator
- A person invited to work in an account without becoming its owner.

- Database
- Structured information used by a website, such as pages, settings, users, and form data.
- Delegated access
- Separate, removable access given to someone who helps manage an account.
- DNS
- The records that direct a domain to website, email, and other online services.
- DNS propagation
- The time needed for updated DNS information to be recognized across internet systems.
- DNSSEC
- A security system that uses signed DNS data to help prevent forged domain responses.
- Domain name
- The address people type to reach a website, such as example.com.
- Domain registrar
- A company authorized to register and manage domain names for customers.

- A free profile for an eligible local business on Google Search and Google Maps.

- Hostinger's control panel for websites, domains, email, billing, and account access.

- Least privilege
- Giving a person only the access needed for their current work.
- License ledger
- A list of paid or licensed website items, including who owns each account and when it renews.

- Managed hosting
- Hosting where the provider handles much of the server infrastructure and maintenance.
- Manager
- A user who can manage much of a Business Profile without controlling ownership or users.

- Nameserver
- A server that identifies where a domain's complete DNS instructions are managed.

- Premium domain
- A domain priced above the normal rate by the registry or current owner.
- Primary category
- The single category that best describes the main work of the business.
- Primary Owner
- The Google Business Profile user with final control over the profile and its users.
- Promotional price
- A temporary introductory price that may require a long prepaid term.
R
- Recovery code
- A backup code used to regain access when the usual second sign-in method is unavailable.
- Registrant
- The person or organization recorded as the holder of a domain registration.
- Renewal price
- The price charged to continue a service after the current paid term.

- Service-area business
- A business that travels to customers and does not receive them at its address.
- SSL certificate
- A security certificate that lets a website use an encrypted https connection.

- Top-level domain
- The ending of a domain name, such as .com, .org, or .design.
- Transfer lock
- A security setting that helps prevent an unauthorized move to another registrar.
- Two-factor authentication
- A second sign-in check in addition to a password, often shortened to 2FA.

- Google's process for confirming that a business exists and that the person applying is allowed to manage it.

- Web hosting
- A service that stores website files and makes them available on the internet.
