Buy Hosting With Hostinger

In Short

Create Hostinger in your own account, choose a basic plan that fits the website, check the full prepaid total and renewal price, secure the account, and invite your designer through Account Sharing.

00. Why This Guide Uses Hostinger

Hostinger is the walkthrough provider because its control panel is approachable, it supports separate account sharing, and a WordPress website can be moved later.

It is an example, not a claim that Hostinger is best for every business.

DreamHost and SiteGround are reasonable alternatives. Their pricing, backups, access controls, and renewal terms differ. The same ownership rule applies. You create and pay for the account, then invite the professional.

01. Decide What You Are Hosting

For a normal small-business website, start with managed web hosting or managed WordPress hosting.

Tell your designer before buying when the site needs:

  • An online store
  • Membership accounts
  • High traffic or large media files
  • Multiple websites
  • Daily backups
  • Business email
  • Custom server software

Most brochure-style sites do not need a VPS or advanced cloud plan.

02. Step 1. Create Your Account

Open hostinger.com directly in your browser.

Use:

  • An email address controlled by the business
  • The business or owner's real details
  • A unique password
  • The business payment method

Do not ask the designer to buy the plan in their account. Hostinger generally does not transfer hosting plans between accounts. An eligible WordPress website can be transferred to another Hostinger account, but the destination account needs its own active hosting plan. The domain, email, and DNS settings do not move with that website transfer.

03. Step 2. Compare the Complete Plan

The large monthly number is usually an equivalent monthly rate for a longer term paid upfront.

At checkout, write down:

Item What to record
Total today The actual amount charged now
Contract length The number of prepaid months
Renewal price The amount or monthly equivalent after the term
Renewal date When the next charge can occur
Backups Weekly, daily, or an add-on
Email Number of mailboxes and when free service ends

Hostinger's prices vary by country, promotion, and date. Do not rely on a screenshot from an older guide.

Choose the shortest reasonable commitment when you are unsure. A longer term can reduce the introductory rate, but it also increases the upfront payment.

04. Step 3. Select the Platform

Choose WordPress when the site should remain portable.

Hostinger Website Builder can be simpler, but a full design cannot currently be exported. Content can be moved in limited ways, while layout, store setup, forms, integrations, and other settings may need to be rebuilt.

Ask your designer to confirm the platform in writing before installation.

05. Step 4. Complete Checkout

Review the cart before paying.

Remove add-ons that are not part of the plan. Confirm whether a domain is included, but keep your existing Porkbun domain at Porkbun. You do not need another domain.

Pay with the business method and save the receipt with the account record.

06. Step 5. Secure the Account

After purchase:

  1. Turn on app-based two-factor authentication.
  2. Store recovery codes somewhere secure.
  3. Check the profile and recovery details.
  4. Open Billing > Subscriptions and record the renewal information.
  5. Decide whether auto-renew should remain on.
  6. Add a calendar reminder before the renewal charge.

Hostinger may process an automatic renewal before the final expiration date. Check the current timing shown in your subscription and Hostinger's renewal policy.

07. Step 6. Invite Your Designer

Use Account Sharing instead of sending the password.

Select only the service the professional needs. Leave permission to set up pending orders off unless it is part of the agreed work.

The invited user can manage technical hosting areas, but cannot change the owner's profile, payment methods, domain contacts, transfer settings, renewals, or account deletion.

Follow Share Hostinger Access for the exact ownership checks.

08. Step 7. Plan the Backup

Confirm how often Hostinger creates backups for the selected plan.

At the time of this review, all Hostinger web hosting plans include weekly backups. Web Business and higher plans include daily backups. Single and Premium plans can add daily backups as a paid feature. Features can change, so check the live plan description.

Schedule an independent download of the website files and database after launch and after major changes.

09. Completion Check

You are ready for the website build when:

  • The Hostinger account belongs to the business
  • The full term and renewal price are recorded
  • The correct website platform is selected
  • Two-factor authentication is on
  • The designer has separate shared access
  • Backup frequency is confirmed
  • The Porkbun domain remains in the Porkbun account
